In addition some of our special events are held on Sundays.

Learning to Play Bridge

You can learn the basics of bridge by joining one of Peninsula Bridge Club's 12 week beginners’ courses which currently are held on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday evenings at certain times of the year. We also conduct Supervised Play sessions on Friday mornings from 10 am to noon which are very suitable for new players wishing to improve their knowledge and skill at the game. Contact Harley Antill (tel 9979 6707) for further details about these courses and sessions.

Finding a partner

E-mail Print PDF

Most players arrange their own partners but players seeking a partner can contact either of the following members who act as brokers:

Audrey Roger (tel: 9979 6696) or Dorothy Pool (tel: 9997 8808)

For the afternoon session on Friday it is not necessary to pre-arrange a partner as players without partners will be paired up at the time.

What it costs

E-mail Print PDF

Table money for walk-in sessions is $3 for members and $5 for visitors.  For special events the table money is usually higher.  After playing four times as a visitor, players may apply for membership.  Currently we have almost 400 members.  The joining fee is $35 and the annual subscription, which includes ABF and NSW Bridge Association affiliation fees, is also $35.  Transfer from other bridge clubs or alternate membership is always welcome.
